Rising Waters formed in Halifax in 2008. This straight ahead indie rock band’s foundation is built on the diversely influenced and contemplative lyrics of Richard Schaller (lead vocals, guitar), and completed by Keegan Leblanc (guitar), Sheldon Hodder (drums), and Nick Patterson (bass).
Rising Waters trashy rhythms and high energy have established them as ReverbNation’s number one local indie band.
Fans have described them as “Steve Earle backed by Alice in Chains” and “The Wallflowers meet Guns N’ Roses”.
Their first full length studio album was recorded in the fall of 2011 by engineer/producer Rob Crewe at Stillwater Studios, mastered Don Chapman at DC Productions.
On February 17th, they will kick off their East Coast CD Release tour in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia at Montes Showbar & Grill on Waverley Road.
